The Texas Electric On-Road Series (Texas EOS) aims to promote electric radio controlled on road auto racing in the state of Texas through a several race series at different venues throughout the state. The classes offered are largely based on ROAR and IFMAR rules, except where indicated.

For the inaugural year, we have a 4 race series set in 4 completely different style on-road tracks across the state.

NEWS 5/13/2013

Race 1 is Upon us!!! REGISTRATION OPEN AND VENUE CHANGE

We hope you guys are getting ready for Round 1! Registration is now available through www.rccarcal.com. Please get your entries in ASAP so that we can make the proper preparations for the first race. Remeber, if you do not sign up by the deadline, race entry fees go up by $5.00 each. Also if you sign up at RC Car Cal and you do not pay, the system will automatically erase your registration after 24 hrs. If you have issues getting payed, contact Cristian over at Reflex Racing and he can take your Credit Card Payment over the phone.

We also have had to make a small change. The first event will now be hosted by Austin Hobbytown South at South Park Meadows. The race will also take place on Sunday June 2, instead of Saturday June 1st. Unfortunately we had to make the change as Hobbytown can no longer host races at Hobbytown North.

We're Back!!!

Hey guys! We are back for yet another season of the Texas EOS. The Schedule is set and over the next week we will start updating the website with the year's Sponsors and Several tweaks and rule changes. Please take the time to read the rules so we can all get on the same page and get our cars ready on time!

For this second year, we have scheduled 2 events in Austin, 1 event at World Famous Mike's Hobbyshop in Carrolton, TX and the finals will once again be run at Gulf Coast Raceway in Porter, TX.

One of the biggest changes for the year will be our scheduled rain dates for the complete year. The Rain dates will be set at exactly 3 weeks after the called event. In the Event of the Finals, they will be held on a Saturday, and if a rain date is needed, we will use Sunday if the weather looks to improve. If the weather outlook is bleak, we will call the event ahead of time and re-schedule with the Gulf Coast GP again.

That's a Wrap!

The inaugural season of the Texas EOS is done! Congrats to all the winners and thank you to all that made this possible. We hope to make year two even better, with more entries.

Round 2 is a Great Success!

We had 94 entries at Rd.2 of the Texas EOS. HobbyTown Austin did a great job as a host and all you racers did a great job showing up and racing. Read about it here: Round 2 Results

In other news, TeamSR and Mike Dumas had so much fun at race 2, that they have committed to participate in Rd.3 and Rd.4 of the series full time! Thanks guys!!! Having someone of Mike's ilk really legitimizes what we are trying to accomplish with the Texas EOS. If you see Mike in the pits, don't be afraid to stop by to say hi and bug him about his TeamSR product line.

We now have shirts and hats available for purchase at the Reflex Racing Store. Remember the proceeds from the shirts go towards our end of the year raffle. Find them here.

Race 2 is only 10 days away and we are at over 80 entries!!! Get ready for some fun! Remember Austin does not have pit tables or power, so make arrangements for some.

Round 1 at M&M Hobbies was a great success with 51 entries!!! Results and points have been updated in the Results and Standings page and complete standings can be found in: Complete Standings.

In other news, TeamSR has joined us to become a series sponsor, adding to the Pot for the end of the year race. Don't forget, for every entry you put in, you will get a ticket for the end of the year raffle.
